Changing it up… Party Buffets

I absolutely LOVE Dessert Buffets and Candy Buffets, they just add that special something to a party. I really like it when there is a lot of variety on the table, the color palette matches the party and different height make it more visually appealing.

But as I have recently discovered sweets are just one of the things you can put on a beautiful party buffet. Here are some other ideas that I can’t wait to try…

Keep Calm…

Picture via Wikipedia

I have always been fascinated by the Keep Calm and Carry On Posters. The simple design with the deep and powerful message has transcended time and become one of the most iconic images of the 21st century, it is definitely a designers dream.

So when I found this video on the history of the poster, I had to share it!

And while I’m sharing, here is a link to the “Keep Calm and Carry On” (FREE!!!) font.

So remember…. Just… KEEP CALM (and eat a cake pop) 🙂

Happy Father’s Day!

We are soooo looking forward to Father’s Day this year!

And while getting inspiration, I found these super creative ideas…

From Amanda’s Parties To Go, I found this super cute and simple dessert buffet… The Maple Bacon Cupcakes sound soooo yummy! And I love all their stationery (some of which is offered free on their website)… TIE-RRIFIC!!!!

From one of my favorite bloggers, Bakerella, I found these super cute “sweet” burgers and fries… Can you believe the burgers are actually cupcake “buns” with a brownie “burger” and cookie “fries”…

And last, but not least, these super cool treat “crowns” made out of duct tape from Half Baked! So cute and easy to make!
